A Quick Note Before We Begin
F & S Boys Hostel is an accommodation service, not a product store. So when we talk about a “returns policy,” we are really talking about what happens when something does not go as expected with your booking, your payment, or your stay. This page covers all of that in plain language so you know exactly where you stand.
Advance Payments
If you paid an advance to secure your room and something went wrong on our end, like the room was not available as confirmed or the details changed after your booking, you get your full advance back. We take that seriously because we know you are planning your move around what we confirmed.

Wrong or Duplicate Payments
Sometimes people accidentally pay twice or enter the wrong amount during online booking. It happens. If that is your situation, contact us within 48 hours of the transaction.
Share your payment screenshot and booking details, and we will sort it out quickly. Duplicate or incorrect payments get returned in full once we verify them. This usually takes 3 to 5 working days, depending on your bank.
Room Not as Described
We show our actual rooms on the website. What you see is what you get. But if you arrive and the room is genuinely different from what was shown or confirmed to you, tell us the same day. Do not wait until a week into your stay.
We will either fix the issue, move you to the correct room, or discuss your options with you directly. We want you to be comfortable from day one, not frustrated and silent about it.
Facilities or Services Not Delivered
Our hostel offers WiFi, 3-time meals, laundry, UPS backup, and security. If any of these stop working or are consistently not available during your stay, come talk to us first. Most issues get fixed fast.
If something stays broken for an extended period and genuinely affects your stay, we are open to discussing a partial adjustment on your next month’s fee. We do not make blanket promises here, but we do listen, and we do act.
What We Cannot Return or Adjust
Some things fall outside what we can reverse:
- Days you already stayed and used the room
- Meals consumed through our mess facility
- Any add-on services already used during your stay
- Bookings where the correct service was delivered as confirmed
This is standard for any accommodation. We are not able to refund time that has already passed and services that were genuinely provided.
Damaged or Missing Items
Our rooms come furnished. If anything in the room is damaged, missing, or not working when you first arrive, report it to us on the same day you check in. That way, it is on record, and you are not held responsible for something that was already an issue.
If damage happens during your stay, we handle it on a case-by-case basis and discuss it with you directly before anything is deducted.

Tell us your name, your room, your booking date, and what the issue is. The more detail you give us, the faster we can help. We try to respond to all concerns within 24 hours on working days.

We are a small hostel that genuinely cares about the students who live here. We are not a big chain with a customer service department that passes you around. When something goes wrong, you talk to the people who actually run this place. T
hat means faster answers and real decisions. If we made a mistake, we own it, and we fix it. That is the only way we know how to run things.
